The best way to lend well is to know what you’re lending to. Before you place your skill, walk in through the Commit door: register, take the Commons Welcome, and see the enclave from the inside — its current state, the resources already standing, and where it’s headed. Understand the ground first, and you’ll help the participants far better for it.
