Private calls, mail, project support, accounting, and AI agents that answer to their owner and no one else. The proof of sovereignty is most convincing when the builder actually lives in the house they built.

If opplet weren’t useful to run day-to-day, none of the other reasons would hold. Dogfooding is the honesty test.
